Spring Wardrobe Swap

Our Spring Wardrobe Swap was such a success!

I highly recommend that you get a group of your girls together and do this!!!!!

Gem and I decided that we were going to have no rules. Outrageous I know!

I did some research into Clothes Swapping and a lot of what I found was highly complicated, involved ranking the money value of your clothes, tickets (that part I liked), and really just not what we had in mind.

Ideally what we did want was a relaxed atmosphere, and for people to go away with at least one or two things they really liked.

There ended up being 7 people at our Swap, which we decided afterwards, was a perfect number. We invited over 20! So in lots of ways we were glad that not everyone could come because it may not have been so enjoyable. besides that there were actually clothes everywhere?!?! Hopefully different people will come to our next one!

Having only 7 people meant that we could all help each other choose, give advice, see what worked, what didn't. What was also really nice, was that we weren't all best buds, in fact, lots of our 7 had only just meet but everyone went in with an open-mind and it just worked!

(The cushions weren't included!)

In the next week or so I am going to put up some of the clothes I 'swapped' because I am so stoked with what I got, and have the urge to share! I felt like I had been on a shopping spree, and all I had to do was give a bag of my unwanted clothes. Perfect!

Remember: no money was exchanged, and after touching base after the event with our fellow 'swappers' we can safely say that everyone came away happy.

Bring on the next 'swap' ladies!

You know what they say.. 'One mans trash, another mans treasure!'

I love this concept, I'd love to go to one of these events. I'd be absolutely delighted if my clothes made another person happy!!
